In the 1950s, Marcel Dassault, a leading figure in French aeronautics, traveled through the Bordeaux region with his clients. After each factory visit came the same desire: to discover a great growth. He soon understood that wine, beyond pleasure, is a language\u2014an art of hospitality. He needed a ch\u00e2teau.<\/p>\n

Legend has it that he once visited a property without even stepping inside. A glance at the vines, an instinctive appreciation of the terroir, and the decision was made on the spot. A gesture in keeping with the man: swift, assured, almost visionary.<\/p>\n

Seventy years on, the estate stands as a firmly rooted presence in Saint-\u00c9milion. Driven by a constant pursuit of excellence, it has gradually established itself among the Grands Crus Class\u00e9s of the appellation. Here, fidelity to terroir is no empty phrase: it is expressed through meticulous care of the vines, a deep respect for the balance of clay-limestone soils, and a commitment to Merlot, the signature grape of the Right Bank.<\/p>\n
